Child & Adolescent Services

40+

Clinical support staff (therapists, psychiatrists, case managers, mental health specialists and consultants) attending to the needs of our youth in Arapahoe and Douglas Counties.

When it comes to our youth, we offer a continuum of services aimed at meeting the diverse needs of our child and adolescent community members. Our counciling  teams collectively support early childhood, child, and adolescent youth through individual, family, and group therapy services. Our psychiatry team provides care and treatment to our child and adolescent youth. Through our substance use treatment services at our Parker and Castle Rock locations, we have trained staff to work with adolescents on their path to recovery from addiction, mental illness, and trauma.

Our co-located school-based teams provide a wide range of support to the entire school system. From individual, group and family therapy for students to training of school district staff, students and parents on a variety of topics such as trauma responsive practices, suicide prevention, and Mental Health First Aid. Therapists facilitate and complete expedited intakes for youth in need of immediate access and develop treatment goals with students, their families, and school personnel, where appropriate.

Intensive Programs

91%

of clients reported an average improvement of 35% from pre to post enrollment to our intensive program for depressive disorders.

Our intensive programs (IOPs) provide short-term treatment (6-12 weeks) for people who need more than traditional weekly therapy sessions. This model bridges the gap between hospital treatment and weekly therapy through a more impactful and condensed approach. We offer three programs focused on depression, severe and persistent mental illness, and substance use disorders.

Clients attend sessions for a minimum of 9 hours per week, 3 hours per day. The duration of the program is 6 weeks.

  • The benefits of our intensive programs:
  • Decrease in symptoms
  • Improved daily functions
  • Positive social connections
  • Improved ability to manage physical health
  • Resiliency
  • Increase motivation
  • More effective coping strategies
